Physician Assistant: This program can be submitted as a Category II elective.
CDR: This program was approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for Registered Dietitians.
Important: The Diabetes Core Curriculum Workshop (DCCW) content is revised every six months (indicated by different version numbers). The Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) has determined that revised editions of courses are considered completely new courses. You may therefore use CE credit from different versions of a course during the same recertification period, so long as the courses are completed during your portfolio period (e.g., you may take both version 33 and version 36 in your same 5 year portfolio period).
ANCC: This continuing education activity was approved by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
Note: The Diabetes Core Curriculum Workshop (DCCW) is approved for continuing education by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Courses approved by these organizations are accepted by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) for CDE® recertification by continuing education.
A certificate of attendance is provided at the end of each course. Registration tuition and contact hours are based on attending all sessions during the four day conference. If absent, partial credit will be given.
