Our unique 4-day interactive course provides the specialized knowledge and skills you need to provide education to persons with diabetes.

As a continuing education course, we cover the curriculum recommended by the American Diabetes Association's National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) programs, address the content areas on the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) exam as well as some of the content on the Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) exam.

Each lecture is updated prior to each course ensuring participants receive the most up-to-date information. Enhance the quality and effectiveness of your practice by attending this workshop.

   For Veterans:    The Department of Veteran Affairs has approved reimbursement for the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators. Veterans and other qualified individuals can now request reimbursement for the cost of the exam by using their GI education benefits. For more information, visit the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.

** The Diabetes Core Curriculum Workshop (DCCW) is approved for continuing education by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Courses approved by these organizations are accepted by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) for CDE recertification by continuing education.
